UPDATE – THE JINNY TRIAL IS NOW OPEN AGAIN FROM FRIDAY 25th FEBRUARY
We can confirm that the trail is now open between Rolleston and Stretton as the dangerous tree has been removed and other planned tree maintenance works are completed. Thank you to residents and walkers for their patience and support over the last few days. A big thank you to the tree surgeons and the council contractor for all their hard work to clear this fallen tree as quickly as they could.
Please be aware that there is additional work to be completed over the next week to reinstate path edges, dig out the ditches and remove self sets along the trail towards Rolleston. This does not require further closures, however we ask you to be aware of these works and to take care for your own safety whilst they are happening.
URGENT NOTICE – JINNY TRAIL CLOSED
Please note that the Jinny Trail is closed until further notice due to a dangerous tree. This will be attended to as soon as possible and we will advise when the Trail is open again.
